Entering the awards has been made as simple as possible.
- Entry is free and you are recommended to copy & paste all the text from this section into a document and save that on your drive before completing the five text response areas and your details below that. Complete your entry in that document.

Timeline
Announced 2nd week in April.
Absolute deadline for entries: Monday 30th October 5pm.
The winner will be announced and awarded at the Green Expo Awards Dinner. Tickets are £150 with tables of 10 at £1,200. A representative from the winning company must attend. More information at https://greenexpo.uk/awards
Judging panel:
A panel of five judges, including one from the sponsor, will be assessing entries in this category, drawn from relevant and experienced experts in commerce, innovation, finance and marketing.
Rules:
The award is aimed at both inward investment companies and businesses already situated in Cheshire and Warriington.
The judges are looking for a company or organisation that has made a significant financial investment to grow their business in Cheshire and Warrington over the last 5 years and;
- Applied a policy of investing in green solutions for decarbonisation or positive climate change towards net zero.
- Employed and invested in local people, contractors and suppliers and can
- demonstrate positive sustainability and growth for the future.
Companies can be a subsidiary of another organisation or be a quoted company or but should be incorporated in England and Wales. Turnover needs to be over £1 million in the current financial year with over 30 employees. Significant, mentioned above, is measured by the proportion of the investment to the size of the organisation.
Entry Measurement Criteria, this has 4 distinct factors:
CONCEPT
The investment in brief
How much has been invested? What proportion of turnover was that at the time? What was the investment for?
35 words maximum
Opportunity, Conception, Method, Development
How did the investment plan evolve? How did it gain momentum? How did you overcome barriers and make decisions? What did you expect from this investment?
300 words maximum
VALUE
Need/desire, Differentiation, Cost, Advantage Were your expectations in making the investment met? What is the relationship between its cost and benefits now? Does the investment give you any distinct, game changing advantages over any competitors?
300 words maximum
DELIVERY
Engagement, Achievement How has turnover increased? How has the number employed increased? What has been your investment in training and recruitment? In new equipment and facilities? What has been your investment in community engagement?

IMPACT
Sustainability, Social Responsibility, Potential How has the investment benefited the community, other and your organisation? Has your investment increased the sustainability of your organisation? Why should you win this award?
