The Green Expo Awards 2023
Thurs, November 9th, 7pm.
The awards will highlight great work that is making a difference in renewable energy and innovation in Net Zero for organisations, individuals and communities. Winners could be a worldwide organisation or an individual but must have some connection to Cheshire & Warrington in terms of their location or effect.
Awards categories include: Green Startup of the Year (with a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style pitch), Award for Innovation in Energy, Awards for Innovation in the Built Environment, Transportation, Commercial and Industrial Markets, Community Engagement, Learning and Inward Investment (nine in total). The awards are judged by an expert panel of industry leaders and experts in a rigorous two-stage process including pre-scoring to determine shortlists and a judging meeting where entries are discussed and evaluated in detail to decide the winning entries. Feedback is given.

The evening will commence with a sparkling reception, a prestigious welcome address and sit-down three-course dinner for 150 guests from the world of business, industry and academia. It provides an ideal opportunity to network with like-minded business figures, inward investors, leaders and VIPs all focused on the green agenda.
The menu has been selected to represent the very best of what Cheshire and the North West offers in season – locally sourced, reared and grown. It is designed, sourced and served in conjunction with Cheshire College and the hospitality students at this prestigious centre of catering excellence guided by celebrity and award winning executive chef, Brian Mellor.
