EA Technology is to be the main sponsor for 2025 for Green Expo UK which focuses on achievements towards net-zero and what a carbon neutral future will look like for organisations and individuals alike.
The fourth Green Expo is taking place this year in Chester, Cheshire, UK with the prestigious Photography Competition, a Youth Conference and the Awards Dinner in November.
EA Technology based in Capenhurst near Chester develops solutions to enable resilient, accessible, low cost energy networks globally, accelerating the transition to energy decarbonisation.
Chris Witte, Head of Corporate Affairs at EA Technology said: “We have been following the progress of Green Expo and were proud to support the Awards in 2022 and 2023.”
Chris added; “We are supporting Green Expo again this year because we are a local company in the sustainability tech space and recognise there is a skill shortage in our sector driven by a lack of young people with STEM qualifications for both ourselves and the whole electricity grid value chain. We are also keen to highlight those organisations we are making strides on energy decarbonisation. Hence why we are sponsoring the Green Expo Award for Innovation in Energy alongside eight other awards.”
The eight other awards are Green Startup of the Year, Innovation in the Built Environment, Transportation, Commercial Markets, Industrial Markets, Community Engagement, Learning and Inward Investment.
