2024 Judging

A panel of five judges decide winners in the nine categories.


Ian Cooper is an experienced, award-winning freelance photographer working for high-profile corporate clients across the UK. Specialising in headshots, PR, event, and the environmental and rural sector.  His work also regularly features in the national media in newspapers such as The Times and The Guardian.

Outside of photography, Ian recently completed an Environmental Science diploma with the Open University, due to his passion for the natural world.

Ian began his professional career in 2007 at the Chester Chronicle before moving onto the Liverpool Echo and North Wales Daily Post where he was Chief Photographer. He has covered events locally and across the world including Champions League Football and dozens of Royal visits.

Ian Southerin is a leading commercial photographer in the North West of England. Ian knows that his continued success is due to his relentless attention to detail, the quality of his prints and his passion for photography.

Ian says “I love taking photographs. When I am not undertaking a commission, I am out with my camera building my collection of non-commissioned images. If you love photography, you must live it.”

Mark Earnshaw is founder of Manchester based The Comms Room working in multi-media and event production for major record labels and corporates across the World. He is skilled in the creation of complex communication strategies for events involving video, image, training or change programmes. He holds a BA (Hons) in Law from Manchester and extended studies in the psychology of communication

Every winner in 2024 will receive a cash prize of £100.
