A panel of five judges decided winners in the nine categories.
Ian Southerin
Ian Southerin is a leading commercial photographer in the North West of England. Ian knows that his continued success is due to his relentless attention to detail, the quality of his prints and his passion for photography.
Ian says “I love taking photographs. When I am not undertaking a commission, I am out with my camera building my collection of non-commissioned images. If you love photography, you must live it."

Mark Carline
Mark Carline is a North West-based photographer who discovered his passion for photography in his teenage years. Over two decades in the region, he has cultivated a deep connection, capturing the vibrant essence of urban life and the richness of arts and culture. With features in the BBC, The Guardian, Cheshire Live and The Stage, Mark's work stands as a testament to his skill in visual storytelling. His images chronicle the North West's cityscapes and cultural events on social media and other forms. Through his lens, he invites you to discover and appreciate the beauty that unfolds in the heart of the region, regardless of the weather. He won two awards in the 2024 Green Expo Professional Photographer of the Year awards and will not be involved with the judging of this category.

Mark Earnshaw
Mark Earnshaw is founder of Manchester based The Comms Room working in multi-media and event production for major record labels and corporates across the World. He is skilled in the creation of complex communication strategies for events involving video, image, training or change programmes. He holds a BA (Hons) in Law from Manchester and extended studies in the psychology of communication
