Cheshire College – South & West offers exciting opportunities for 11,000 learners and 1,000 Apprentices to access high-quality teaching and learning at modern Campuses in Crewe, Ellesmere Port and Chester benefitting from £140m investment in the latest technology and real work environments.

The college provides learners with the skills, experience and qualifications that will prepare them for their future career or higher-level study at the College or university.

Cheshire College prides itself on strong links with local businesses of all sizes who benefit from tailored training delivered in the workplace or at College Campuses, and from the provision of a wide range of Apprenticeships such as Catering, Construction and Engineering. It works with many major local employers such Bentley, Ecolab, Vauxhall Motors, Scottish Power, Unilever, Brunning and Price and National Grid.

Academy West – Ellesmere Port Campus

The Academy West restaurant is fully-licensed and provides a real-work environment for Hospitality and Catering learners who create amazing bistro dishes using locally-sourced produce from Cheshire and on the Wirral. The college’s talented learners use their skills to create fine dining dishes taking inspiration from a range of cuisines from around the world.

Academy Restaurant – Crewe Campus

Academy Restaurant at the Crewe Campus is also open for reservations. It holds several industry accreditations including:

• Gold Accreditation & Centre of Excellence for Food & Beverage Service from People First
• Highly Commended College Rosette from AA Hotel Services
• AA ‘Restaurant of the Year’, 2017 & 2019

The Academy Restaurant at Crewe holds everything from gin-tasting evenings to fantastic gourmet evenings with well-known chefs such as Paul Askew, Adam Smith and Luke Thomas.
